James Pezzollo, DMD

Dr. James Pezzollo is a Long Island native, born and raised in Suffolk County. He obtained his doctorate degree in Dental Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pezzollo then went on to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Northwell Health Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During his residency, Dr. Pezzollo was trained extensively in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He concluded his residency training as a chief resident at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, Stony Brook University Hospital and the Northport VA Medical Center.

Being a second generation Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Pezzollo strives to continue to serve his community to the highest standard while utilizing the newest advances in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. While continuing to practice the full scope of the specialty, he focuses on dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, orthognathic surgery and reconstructive jaw surgery. Dr. Pezzollo loves working with his patients every day and strives to make his patients feel comfortable and safe.

In his free time, Dr. Pezzollo enjoys movies, fishing, good food and spending quality time with his wife, friends, and family.
