Brijesh Chandwani, DMD, BDS

Dr. Chandwani has more than 15 years of experience which is focused on TMJ disorders and sleep disorders. He is residency trained TMJ specialist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain. He did his Acupuncture training at the Harvard Medical School and his TMJ training at Tufts University.

There are three main principles to his treatment paradigm for TMJ disorders:

1.	Holistic approach to treatment: he is a trained acupuncture practitioner and utilizes physical medicine approaches extensively in his treatment approaches.
2.	Collaboration with You, primary physician and primary dentist for optimum care. Your primary physician and your primary dentist knows your body and your jaw more than anyone else; we use that and ensure the best treatment which will work for you.
3.	Aiming for a treatment goal which involves more than just treating the pain. Treatment goal is quality of life and improving function and improving general well being.

In his free time, Dr. Chandwani enjoys playing tennis, cycling and spending time with his family (he has a 9 year old son and a 3 year old daughter)
